Mains or High Pressure Systems
Some consider these to be the best types of system but there are some disadvantages as with all the options.
The name Mains or High Pressure usually refers to the pressure achieved at a household's hot taps, these systems provide mains pressure hot water which is only advantageous if your property benefits from good mains pressure.
In cases where it does not there is little argument to install this type of system. Additionally as you would expect high pressure hot water is highly dangerous. A system such as this if poorly installed or not regularly serviced can be potentially life threatening as they have been known to go wrong and blow up!
The positives are that assuming a decent level of mains pressure in your home there we be high flow rates and also there are no tanks to be stored in the loft.
