After being on contract with British Gas for about 12 years and whilst I have been fairly to very happy with their service, I decided it was time to look around for a cheaper service / breakdown contract provider. Following a recomendation, I contacted Mcs who attended the next day and carried out what I regarded to be a very thorough and complete service to my boiler. The engineer was very polite and seemed very knowledgable. I have just had cause to call them to attend to a breakdown on my system, (the pump failed) they attended the same day and my system was back up and running withing about 45 minutes. I was and am very pleased with the service Mcs have provided and rate them as good as, if not better (certainly by cost / service / value)than my previous company. THANK YOU....

I strongly recommend you think twice before using this company for your central heating breakdown cover. If you read closely their terms and conditions, you will see that an unusual amount of major parts are NOT covered. They employ young and inexperienced engineers who have questionable faultfinding abilities. They do not carry parts resulting in a delay in repair thus making a further visit necessary (inconvenient if everyone works).
